Ellen Page to gay it up on screen. Finally.
She may be out of the long-anticipated “lesbian werewolf” flick, Jack and Diane, but apparently Ellen Page is slated to play a lesbian in a the film adaption of the Laurel Hester story, where she’ll play Laurel’s partner, Stacie, which of course is much sadder than teenaged lesbian werewolves.

RIP 'South of Nowhere'
Sure, the final season was pretty lame. Even the actors thought so. But, the first two were great for young queers and trying-to-still-be-young queers who like shows like Degrassi. (Um, hello.) But Spashley is officially no more, despite the many efforts of fans to save them. (Nice try, SaveSpashley.com. We were totally with you.)
Now, to drown our sorrows, we’re just gonna take a cue...

New MIRAH album due March 12! →
Best news ever: Indie queer darling Mirah will finally give us a follow up to 2004’s C’Mon Miracle. Don’t get us wrong, we loved the remixes on Joyride, but new material has been in order for like five years.
