I haven’t noticed the lesbian attention as much, but I have to say that straight women have been coming out of the woodwork.

Christina Hendricks gets more attention from gay men and straight women than from lesbians. We need to welcome her, for real.

Cynthia Nixon joins the National Equality March! Yeah! Thanks to everyone out there today!

Oh Serena, we know you could take the ball and shove it down our fucking throats—and we think it’s totally hot.

Tegan and Sara, “Hell”

The first single from Sainthood. Are you ready?!

I think I realized really early on that I am a role model and I have absolutely no problem being a role model. I live my life in a way that I feel completely comfortable with. I do not struggle with who I am, who I date, who I love, what I say or what I stand for, not just sexuality but everything.
— Sara Quin in an interview with Spinner about Tegan and Sara’s upcoming sixth album, Sainthood (out Oct. 27).

It’s October! That means it’s time to get psyched on pumpkin beer, Halloween, uhh..Columbus Day and…the re-release of Lissy Trullie’s debut EP, Self-Taught Learner with added songs, including a cover of Biz Markie’s “Just a Friend.” The album is due out the 20th. In the meantime, enjoy her video for “Boy Boy.”

Everyone just thinks I’m a raging lesbian and I want to see everyone’s boobs. Sorry, I’m not.

La Roux’s Elly Jackson, refuting lesbian rumors / breaking hearts.

How to NOT keep people from talking about your sexuality

It’s no secret (well, really) that Lady Sovereign digs ladies. I mean, have you been to any of her shows? It’s pretty obvious. Yet, the British rapper never actually talks about her sexuality in interviews. That’s OK. Instead, she just gets arrested for spitting at a bouncer of a gay club in Australia.

She was released, of course, and fined about $400 (US), and then said, via Twitter: “Spitting in someone’s face is nasty, but how about a guy dressed up as a girl running at you in the toilets and punching you in the head?”

Huh?

I don’t want to get married because right now the institution of marriage feels very one-sided, and I want to live in a country where we all have equal rights…I have so many friends who are gay and lesbian and would so badly want to get married, and I wouldn’t be able to sleep with myself.

Charlize Theron—who may be playing the new Catwoman—being hot and awesome per usual.
