Once upon a time, there was a Chicago-based online lesbian magazine called CHILL. It lasted a year before evolving into this daily(ish) national blog as a result of outside-of-Chicago readers demanding we stop being so all about Chicago.
This happened in 2007. We’ve been pretty gay ever since.
jamie was the editor and co-publisher of chill. she is on the internet constantly, since she “works” in internet marketing and also writes about music and culture … but mostly lindsay lohan, as often as possible. (turns out labor pains wasn’t so bad, guys!)
when jen isn’t writing about state politics or chicago crime, she is usually scouring for new photographs of rachel maddow, blogging about lesbians or eating frozen pizza while watching MSNBC on her big green couch with her lady and two cats.
