It was just announced that Leisha Hailey will be starring in The L Word spin-off, which is great for fans of her character, Alice (and great for Showtime since a spin-off involving Shane, while widly popular/sexy at first, would be completely predictable), but not so great for Uh Huh Her, as the aforementioned Alice fans will inevitably keep screaming things like “I love you Alice!” through their sets. (Hey, at least they don’t yell “Yoplait yogurt!”)

While this is basically good news, since Alice is arguably one of the most three-demensional/entertaining characters on the show, we wonder what the hell she’s gonna do without her friends. Is she gonna be like, “Peace out, bitches,” and run off with Melanie Lynskey? Maybe she’ll try to be the next Ellen and get her own talk show (that must only be able to be filmed somewhere else, like New York, hence the loss of friends) and inevitably marry Lynskey’s character in a highly-publicized gay wedding?
