Isaiah Washington: Grey's Treatment of Brooke Smith Is "Disgusting"
The man ousted for his homophobic remarks to out Grey’s actor T.R. Knight thinks the show’s producers were “uncomfortable” with Dr. Hahn and Callie’s relationship—but doesn’t blame Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes:
“Now that I see what they’re doing to a show that I love and I care about, I think it’s disgusting. The fact that Shonda has been put in this position is extremely unfair.”
A change of heart for the former gay-basher or another opportunity to plea for Dr. Burke’s return? Looks like a little of both.
“Bring Burke back!” he told TV Guide.
Ousting a gay character to bring back a homophobic actor would probably be a bad call for Grey’s producers. Not that I care, I’m officially over watching the show after the Callie/Dr. Hahn “chemistry” excuse.
No chemistry? Riiiiight.
