The Advocate.com and SheWired are reporting that the social networking site born from the L Word is donezo. The editors of the site say it ain’t so:

Some of you may have read the rumors that have been flying about regarding OurChart “shutting down” - as rumors tend to be, this is not true.

Ok..so it’s false?

Yes, we are unfortunately in a position of needing to scale back on our content initiatives.

The post goes on to explain that member profile info won’t be removed and stresses that the OurChart community “makes the site what it is.”

So will it just be a social networking site with no editorial content? Not so clear. I will be pretty bummed if I can’t read Professor Crandall’s “Find Your Inner…” columns anymore.
