When Brooklyn-based musician Gina Pensiero isn’t writing catchy and sometimes depressing songs for her band Palmyra, she’s writing about music in her blog, One Sweet Song.
Gina, a truly talented (queer) lady picks a song daily and explains its significance either to her or the world (She featured Nina Simon’s “Feelin’ Good” on Inauguration Day for obvious reasons.)
The blog always links to MP3s of the featured songs, too.
Apparently I am not the only one lovin’ on Gina’s sweet blog: It was nominated for a Bloggie Award today!
