Portia ready to get knocked up?

The gossip rags are abuzz today with news that Portia and Ellen may be getting ready to have a baby.

Despite earlier reports that Portia would prefer to adopt a child, a “source” told Star magazine that she will soon start in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.

“They would love a boy. But would truly be happy with any healthy baby,” the unnamed Chatty Kathy told the tabloid. “(de Rossi) is prepared to go through it (IVF) 10 times if she has to. Whatever it takes to get pregnant, she’ll do it. She’s been changing her eating habits. Her goal is to gain a few pounds before they start the IVF process.”

The source goes on to state the obvious: “Ellen and Portia are mad about each other. And having a child together will only strengthen their bond.”
